Welcome to YouScore. By downloading, installing, or using the YouScore mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and YouScore (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

You must be at least 13 years old to use YouScore. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You meet the age requirements stated above
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or contain false information.

YouScore has three user roles:

• Fan: Default role. Can view scores, highlights, follow teams, and engage with content.
• Reporter: Approved users who can create game coverage, update live scores, upload highlights, and earn compensation. Reporter access requires application and admin approval.
• Admin: Platform administrators who manage users, content, and settings.

Reporters must provide accurate score information and are responsible for the content they publish.

You retain ownership of content you post (“User Content”), including highlights, comments, and profile information. By posting User Content, you grant YouScore a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the App and for promotional purposes.

You agree not to post content that:

• Is false, misleading, or inaccurate
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains hate speech, harassment, or threats
• Is sexually explicit or inappropriate for minors
• Promotes illegal activities
• Contains spam or unauthorized advertising
• Violates the privacy of others

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without notice.

Reporters are responsible for the accuracy of score updates and game information. YouScore does not guarantee the accuracy of user-reported scores.

Reporters must:

• Report scores accurately and in real time
• Not intentionally falsify game information
• Only cover games they are present at or authorized to cover
• Follow all applicable rules of the venues and schools

Repeated inaccurate reporting may result in loss of reporter privileges.

Approved reporters may earn compensation for game coverage and highlight uploads. Compensation rates are set by YouScore and may change at any time.

Earnings are tracked within the App. Payment terms, schedules, and methods will be communicated separately. YouScore reserves the right to withhold payment for content that violates these Terms.

Reporters are independent contractors, not employees of YouScore. Reporters are responsible for their own tax obligations.

The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by YouScore and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Use YouScore's trademarks without permission
• Scrape or harvest data from the App
• Create derivative works based on the App

YouScore may display advertisements within the App. By using the App, you agree to the display of advertising content. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

Advertisers may collect anonymized usage data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Circumvent any security measures
• Upload malware or malicious code
• Engage in any activity that could harm minors
• Use the App to stalk, harass, or bully others

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• We may delete your account and associated data
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings.

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Scores or game information will be accurate
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Any defects will be corrected

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YouScore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YouScore, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your User Content
• Your violation of any third-party rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Essex County, New Jersey.
